The Scotsman's American coverage

I TRY to read the Scotsman as much as possible. However, I've been struck by how bad their coverage of the US Presidential elections has been.

Amongst the poor coverage, one piece by Chris Stephen always sticks out:
The powerful Congress Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, is likely to take up the role, but she has already angered the Clinton camp by ruling out talk of an Obama-Clinton "dream ticket".

That other party heavyweight, Massachusetts governor Ted Kennedy, has lined up behind Barack Obama.
Maybe I'm being pernickety but I thought that anyone who has been entrusted to write about American politics for one of Scotland's - even the UK's - most notable newspapers should know that Ted Kennedy is not, has not, and is never likely to be Governor of Massachusetts. He has of course been a Senator for well over 40 years.

What next? Rudy Giuliani the famous Mayor of Boston?
